Dr. Santangelo is a board-certified veterinary pathologist (clinical pathology) with specialized expertise in applied molecular biology and comparative medicine. She has successfully mentored many PhD students and post-doctoral veterinarians through advanced graduate training programs.

Having been awarded several NIH grants, she brings a substantial expertise in nonclinical research design, grant and manuscript writing, and histopathological methods to the PEAK team.
