Dr. Stenkamp-Strahm holds both an MS in Biological Sciences, and a PhD in Clinical Science with a training focus in Epidemiology. Her research interests lie in the application of herd health as it relates to one health, and she is passionate about the development of appropriately designed veterinary medicine studies, those that are clinical and epidemiological.

She has expertise in conducting bioinformatics analyses using sequence data, and applying appropriate statistical methods to various forms of collected data. She has experience in mixed animal clinical work, and currently teaches and advises masters level graduate students at Utah State University.
